Instead of traditional parent-teacher conferences, Promontory School has student-led conferences (SLC).  These conferences are a crucial part of each student's education where they get the full attention of their parents/caregivers as they use pieces of high-quality work to explain the path of their own learning.
 

Throughout the semester, students practice reflection, learning to think about their
own learning, and sharing their work and reflections with others.
 

The SLC is a chance for your child to describe to you what they have learned, how they felt as they progressed to their current level of understanding,
and what they discovered about themselves as learners.
